    Description

'The Master Locksmith' Magazine - Jan./Feb.1932 Issue
Published in New York By The American Locksmith Corp. and
Sponsored By the American Association of Master Locksmiths
32 stapled pages, containing articles, illustrations,
    period
    photos
    and ads from major lock
    manufacturers. Measures 11"h x 8 1/2"w.
I'm not sure for how long the magazine was published but I think
it stopped when the American Association of Master Locksmiths disbanded. The AAML began some time in the mid to late 1920s ,
consisting of several chapters from cities and states around the US
and, later, Canada. It folded in the mid 1930s due to disagreements
    among the various chapters.
I will be listing at least 6 issues and am happy to combine shipping!
These magazines were given to my grandfather by Herman Henssler,
Jr., one of the founding members of the Philadelphia chapter and
have been wrapped in a safe for several decades. Both my grand-
father, Robert Nelson, and Mr. Henssler were founding members of the current locksmith organization, ALOA, in the 1950s.
The magazines are in very good condition. Some of the covers have small creases on some corners and some yellowing around the edges. The green of the front cover is still bright. The inside pages are clean with no writing or smudge marks. There are no torn, loose or missing pages.
