1.) How to Run a Lathe  40th Edition, 1941
The Care and Operation of a Screw Cutting Lathe
128 illustrated pages with detailed instructions on how
to run and care for a lathe. Measures 8"h x 5"w.
It is in acceptable, used condition. The cover is very shop worn,          faded with nicks, small tears  and stains. While still attached to the      front cover, the binding has come loose. The inside pages are              intact but there are some smudge and pencil marks on a few              pages. There are no torn, loose or missing pages.
2.) South Bend Precision Lathes, Drill Presses, Shaper -
Catalog 5243. 32 stapled pages with illustrations, descriptions             and
specifications for the
bend product line.
Softcover. Measures 10 5/8"h x 8 1/2"w.
Catalog 5243 is in acceptable, used condition. There are tears on       the front cover by the spine and a large tear on the rear cover.             The  covers have come loose from the staples. The inside pages         are clean and free of marks. There are no tears or missing pages       and except for the previously mentioned covers, no loose pages.
3.) South Bend Bulletin 6406 - 17" Geared Head Lathe - 1964.
Six page folded brochure with illustrations, operating instructions         and
specs for this new lathe. 11"h x 8 1/2"w.
Bulletin 6406 is in very good condition. There is a stamp for
a Philadelphia distributor on the front cover.
4.) South Bend Lathe Works 1953 Bulletin 5321CD: Here are 165             Reasons Why You Should Use South Bend Machine Tools.
This is a fold-out mailer and when unfolded measures about
32"h x 22"w.  When folded, it is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"w. It's in good                 condition with small tears along some of the folds.
5.) South Bend Lathe Bulletin 5912 -1959 - '59 Fall Special
Fold Out Advertisement Flyer. When folded, it measures
8 1/2"w X 11'h, and when completely unfolded, 17"w x 22"h.
This flyer is in good condition with no writing on it.  There is
a crease down the center
, more noticeable on the back and
some slightly dog eared corners. There are a few small tears
in some of the folds, only visible when completely unfolded.
