1970 Coinage of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - 8 coin - Proof Set

Up for auction is a set of 9 PROOF coins from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland minted by The Royal Mint.  This 9 coin set is a 1970 Proof Set that contains some of the last examples of the old coinage.  In 1971 the United Kingdom adopted a decimal coinage system. The coins featured in this proof set are of different denominations and metal content.  The coins in this set include: Halfcrown, Florin, Shilling - 2 of the One Shilling (England and Scotland with the shield of the Royal Arms) and a Two Shilling, Sixpence, Threepence, Penny and Halfpenny.  Comes in the original packaging with a information book on each of the coins and an outer envelope box.  Packaging has no surface damage noted.  Plastic case they're in has some surface scuffs and spots noted.  Coins are looking pretty good and may or may not have toning or surface imperfections. The winning bidder will receive the set or similar as shown in the pictures provided.  If you need additional pictures, just let us know.  U.S. shipping is .95 and includes tracking.
